MA 02649 i DECISION FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT Re: Petition of Cloutier Supply Co. for a Special Permit SP-88-09-084 A Petition was filed by Clothier Supply Co. for a Special Permit under - Section 6.3.G.9 and Section 6..3.H.6 of the Land Use Requirements for permission to construct showroom, sales office and warehouse space in an I-1 zoning district on property located at Lot X118 Industrial Drive, 800 Falmouth Road (Map 88, Lott) Mashpee, Massachusetts. (Owner of Record: Kevin P. Andrade) Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on October 12 and October 19, 1988, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday, October 26, 1988, at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Michael Makunas, Edward Govoni and Richard Halpern. Attorney Winn Davis represented the petition. He explained that Clouthier Supply is a wholesale distributor of carpet and tile and is seeking the Special K Permit to operate a showroom open to the public. Sales are made to contractors and carpet installers. Upon motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Appeals voted unanimously on October 26,1988 to grant the Special Permit as requested. The Board established that granting this Special Permit would be in harmony c with the general purpose and intent of the zoning ordinance or by-law, complies with the general provisions of the by-law, and would not be a detriment to the surrounding neighborhood.
