BOX 1108 <br /> MASHPEE, MA 02649 <br /> DECISION <br /> 7 <br /> FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT <br /> si RE: Petition of Purity Supreme d/b/a Angelo's for a Special Permit <br /> (Agent: Owen Tegan Associates) Case: SP-88-10-093 <br /> ,t <br /> A Petition was filed by Owen Tegan Associates of Wilton, Connecticut, <br /> agent for Purity Supreme, for a Special Permit under Section 10.2.4 of <br /> the Zoning By-law for permission to install a new sign in a C-1 zoning <br /> district on property located at Mashpee Commons, "Route 28 and Route 151, <br /> (Map 74, Lot 20) owner of record: Fields Point Manufacturing Corp.) <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the <br /> Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town <br /> of Mashpee, on October 26 and November 2, 1988, a copy of which is <br /> ,. attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearingwas held on the <br /> petition at the Mashpee Town Hall <br /> on.Wednesday, November 9,1988 at which time the following members of <br /> the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: William <br /> Hanrahan, Michael Makunas and Richard Halpern. <br /> Mr. Tegan represented this petition. He showed photos of the <br /> present Angelo's sign calling it non-conforming due to size of 192 <br /> square `feet. He reviewed drawings of the new sign which will be <br /> 95 'square feet and conform to section 10.6.2 being within the 57 <br /> of the roof area. <br /> The Board determined that the. new sign is in harmony with the <br /> general purpose and intent of the ordinance or by-law and would not <br /> be a detriment to the surrounding neighborhood. <br /> L: <br />
