Way (Map 111, Lot 105, Mashpee,
Massachusetts.
Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts
General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the Falmouth
Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee,
on October 26 and November 2,1988, a copy of which is attached hereto
and made a part hereof.
A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town Hall
on Wednesday, November 9, 1988 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following
members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout:
William Hanrahan, Michael Makunas and Richard Halpern.
I' George Thorng of Arrow Engineering presented this petition.
-,1 He reviewed plans of a proposed addition of a garage 16 feet from the
sideline boundary and 11 feet from the rear boundary of the lot. He
r explained that the owner had assumed the lot was in the New Seabury
special permit zoning and recently learned the lot was excluded.
r Joseph Farley, an abutter, was opposed to the addition but withdrew
any objections on November 18, 1988.
'tr The Board determined that the use is in harmony, with other permitted
uses in this zoning district and a change or extension would not be substantially
more detrimental than the existing condition.
, j
