Barry for a Variance Case: V-88-10-104 <br /> A Petition was filed by John L. and Lorraine E. Barry of Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> for a Variance under Section 7.4 of the Land Space Requirements for permission <br /> to vary the set back requirements in an R-3 zoning district on property located <br /> at 248 Hoophole Road (Map 49, Lot 168) Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the Falmouth <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee on <br /> November 30 and December 7, 1988, a copy of which is attached hereto and <br /> made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall <br /> on Wednesday, December 14, 1988 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following <br /> members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Cheryl <br /> Hawver, Richard Halpern and Edward Govoni. <br /> The Board was informed that the applicant proposes to add a two-car <br /> garage to a house located on a corner lot at Pinecrest Avenue and Hoophole <br /> Road requiring a variance in the requirement for front line setbacks on corner <br /> lots. The Board determined that the shape of the lot created a hardship. <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of Appeals voted unanimously <br />
