i' BOARD OF APPEVS
• jay' P. 0. BOX 1108
BLE Co^ MASHPEE. MA 02649
DECISION
` FOR A VARIANCE
Re: Petition of Robert G. and Stella DMarsters
Case: V-88-08-068
A Petition was filed by Robert G. Marsters of Mashpee, Massachusetts
for a variance under Section 7.4 to vary the setback requirement on a lot
located at 74 Lakewood Drive (Map 28, Lot 40) in Mashpee, Massachusetts.
Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts
General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the
Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town
of Mashpee on September 14 and September 24, 1988, a copy of which is
attached hereto and made a part hereof.
A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town Hall
on Wednesday, September 28, 1988 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following
members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout:
William Hanrahan, Richard Halpern and Edward Govoni.
. The Board was informed that the applicant proposes to build a
14' x 24' family room addition replacing a deck. The Board established
that granting this Variance would be in harmony with the general purpose
and intent of the by-law and would not be a detriment to the surrounding
neighborhood.
Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of Appeals voted unanimously
to grant a sideline setback variance of 3 feet and reduce the sideline
setback requirement from 15 feet to' 12 feet.
. 4
f 1 1
