BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> • P. 0. BOX 1108 <br /> MASHPEE, MA 02649 <br /> DECISION <br /> FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT <br /> RE: Pak Lam Tam for a Special Permit Case: SP-88-07-052 <br /> A Petition was filed by Pak Lam Tam for a Special Permit for permission <br /> to construct a stairwell and fixed pier on Mashpee Pond at property located <br /> at Lot 4 Sturgis Lane (Map 20, Lot 46) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the Falmouth <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee on <br /> July 27 and August 3,. 1988, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a <br /> part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, August 10, 1988 and continued to September 14, 1988 at which time <br /> the following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: <br /> Cheryl Hawver, Edward Govoni and Richard Halpern. - <br /> The Board was informed that the Applicant had revised the Petition and <br /> was presenting plans for a stairway and seasonal dock rather than the fixed <br /> pier. _The entire dock and floats would be removed and stored upland in the <br /> winter. The Conservation Commission stated approval of the seasonal dock. <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of Appeals voted unanimously <br /> on September 14, 1988 to grant the Special Permit for the construction of a <br /> stairway and a seasonal dock. <br />
