MA 02649 DECISION RE: New Seabury Corporation for a Special Permit Case #SP-88-03-026 A Petition was filed by New Seabury Corporation of Mashpee, Massachusetts for a Special Permit for permission to exceed the signage requirements of 20 square feet, to locate a sign off premises and to erect a sign within twelve feet of a lot line in a C-1 Zoning District on property located at Pine Tree Rotary, (intersections of Route 28, 151 & Great Neck Road) , (map 74, parcel 16) , Mashpee, Massachusetts. Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the Town of Mashpee on February 24 & March 2, 1988, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday, March 9, 1988 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following mem- bers of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Michael Makunas, Cheryl Hawver and Richard Halpern. The Board was informed the proposed sign will be 80 square feet. Property owners of the land on which the sign is to be erected forwarded their written consent. The Board was informed the proposed sign will be set back 12 feet from the lot line. Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of Appeals voted unani- mously on March 9, 1988 to grant the Special Permit as requested with the stipulation this Applicant comply with the following conditions.
