Board of Appeals Fields Point Ltd. Partnership Page 2.
SP-89-02-29
The building will contain retail space, a restaurant and 9 residential
units. The Design Review Committee has approved the plans.
Comments were received from the Fire Department requesting a full
sprinkler system including dry standpipe and that a fire alarm system
be installed. Mr. Storrs replied that the plans included these and would
be reviewed with the Fire Department before contacts are prepared.
Mr. Storrs discussed the residential units. He said that 9 residential
units had been planned for Building 15 and none for 11B. He would like
to transfer the 9 units from Building 15 to 11B.
He also asked to eliminate the date of completion columns in the
phasing plans since market conditions would dictate which buildings
should be built.
There was discussion of the usage designation for Building 10
and the Board determined that a change in usage was not necessary
since the building was listed for retail use in the 1986 and 1987
schedules.
Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of Appeals motioned
unanimously on March 22, 1989 to:
1. grant a Special Permit for 11B to permit the construction of
a building of 49,565 square feet three stories and 38' in
height per Mashpee Commons plans dated 1/15/89 and 10/22/88
subject to the approval of the Mashpee Fire Department.
2. approve the transfer of the 9 residential units planned
for Building 15 to Building 11B.
3. eliminate the date of completion columns in the phasing schedules
and require that the Fields Point Ltd. Partnership periodically
review the completion projections when new buildings are
presented.
The Board determined that the use is in harmony with the general
purpose and intent of the Zoning By-law and complies with the general
or specific provisions set forth within the By-law.
12
t BY: ` MASHPEE BOARD OF APPEALS
t •• ' "IN FAVOR:
dWilliam 'J..Hanrahan
- 1
Lx .
