Costa for a Special Permit Case: SP-89-03-38 <br /> A Petition was filed by Ronald J. Costa of Mashpee, Massachusetts <br /> for a Special Permit for permission to construct an in-law apartment <br /> in an R-5 Zoning District on property located at 21 Huron Ave. (Map 65, <br /> Block 23) Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the <br /> Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town <br /> of Mashpee on April 10 and April 17, 1989, a copy of which is attached hereto <br /> and maleuab�c eaing'was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town Hall <br /> on Wednesday, April 26, 1989 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following <br /> members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: <br /> William Hanrahan, Cheryl Hawver and Richard Halpern. <br /> The Board was informed that the petitioner proposes to use space <br /> over a garage for a guest apartment for family members. There were <br /> no comments from abutters. <br /> The Board established that granting this Special Permit would be <br /> in harmony with the general purpose and intent of the ordinance or <br /> by-law, and would not be a detriment to the surrounding neighborhood. <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of Appeals voted <br /> unanimously on April 26, 1989 to grant the Special Permit as requested. <br />
