BOX 1108 <br /> MASHPEE, MA 02649 <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> DECISION <br /> FOR A VARIANCE <br /> Re: Petition of Fields Point Limited Partnership for a Variance <br /> Case: V-89-02-31 <br /> A Petition was filed by Fields Point Ltd. Partnership of Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts for a Variance for permission to vary the maximum height <br /> and number of stories in Building 11B, Mashpee Commons, on property <br /> located in a C-1 zoning district on Route 28, Route 151 and Job's <br /> Fishing Road (Map 74, Block 20) Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A, Notice was given by publication in the <br /> Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town <br /> of Mashpee on March 6 and March 13, 1989, a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held .on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall <br /> on Wednesday, March 22, 1989 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following <br /> members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: <br /> William J. Hanrahan, Cheryl A. Hawver and Michael A. Makunas. <br /> Mr. Douglas S. Storrs, of Fields Point Ltd. Partnership represented <br /> the Petition. He presenteiplans for the construction of Building 11B. <br /> The building will be used for retail, restaurant and residential use <br /> and will contain approximately 49,565 square feet, three stories and be <br /> 38' in height. He stated that the increase in height is essential to <br /> the improved function of the building. The building is to be situated <br /> on a naturally depressed site. <br /> Comments were received from the Fire Department and Mr. Storrs <br /> said he would be reviewing all plans with the Fire Department before <br /> contracts are prepared. <br />
