MA 02649 <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> DECISION <br /> FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT <br /> RE: Application of Tauno Metsisto for a Special Permit SP-90-26 <br /> A Petition was filed by Tauno Metsisto of Weston, Massachusetts <br /> for a Special Permit under Section 175-25.I.9 of the Zoning By-laws <br /> for permission to remove an existing pier, ramp and float and construct <br /> and relocate a new pier, ramp and float in an R-3 .zoning district on <br /> property located at 139 Summersea Road (Map 105, Block 63) Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts. (Owner of record: Audrey D. Miller) . <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee <br /> on March 12 and March 19, 1990, a copy of which is attached hereto and <br /> made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall <br /> On Wednesday, March 28, 1990 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following <br /> members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: <br /> Cheryl A. Hawver, Michael A. Makunas and William J. Hanrahan. <br /> Engineer Jeff Ryther represented the Applicant. He presented <br /> plans for the removal of an existing pier, ramp and float and the <br /> construction of a new pier, ramp and float in a new location. He <br /> explained that. the new construction will conform to zoning By-laws <br /> and can be properly licensed and permitted by local, state and federal <br /> regulatory agencies. Written comments were received from the Shellfish <br /> Constable stating that he did not believe the new plan would cause any <br /> disruption to the marine coastal environment. <br />
