MA 02649 <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> DECISION <br /> FOR A VARIANCE <br /> RE: Fields Point Limited Partnership V-90-17 <br /> A Petition was filed by Fields Point Limited Partnership of <br /> Mashpee,"Massachusetts for a Variance under Section 174-31 of the <br /> Zoning By-laws for permission to vary the maximum building height <br /> of a proposed medical office building in a C-1 zoning district on <br /> property located at 51 Nathan Ellis Highway (Route 151) (Map 74, <br /> Block 35) Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 4OA. Notice was given by publication in The <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of <br /> Mashpee on February 12 and February 19, 1990, a copy of which is <br /> attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday, February 28, 1990, at which time the following <br /> members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: <br /> Cheryl A. Hawver, Michael A. Makunas and William J. Hanrahan. <br /> Douglas Storrs of Fields Point represented the application. <br /> He informed the Board that the Design Review Committee and the <br /> Fire Department had concerns with the original design of the medical <br /> office building. He reviewed changes in the plans which would <br /> i <br /> allow access to three sides of the building at ground level and an <br /> alteration of the roof line to provide accessibility from the <br /> finished grade to the edge of the roof. Comments were received <br /> from Deputy Fire Chief George W. Baker stating that the Fire Department <br /> approved the alterations to the original plans. <br />
