Christian for a Special Permit SP-90-22 <br /> A Petition was filed by Bernard T. Christian of Mashpee, Massachusetts <br /> for a Special Permit under Section 174-25:E: 1 of the Zoning By-laws for <br /> permission to operate a retail store for soft drinks and related items <br /> and a redemption center in a C-2 zoning district on property located <br /> at 16 Echo Road (Map 20, Block 26) Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> i General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee <br /> on February 12 and February 19, 1990, a copy of which is attached hereto <br /> and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday, February 28, 1990 at which time the following members <br /> of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Cheryl A. <br /> Hawver, Michael A. Makunas and William J. Hanrahan. <br /> Mr. DePaul, owner of the building, informed the Board that his <br /> Special Permit allowed for three tenants and a redemption center was <br /> a permitted use. He explained that he had received Board of Health <br /> approval and presented plans of the building. Mr. Christian would be <br /> the first tenant. <br /> The Board determined that the use is in harmony with the purpose <br /> and intent of the By-laws and complies 'with the specific provisions <br /> thereof. <br />
