MA 02649 <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> DECISION FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT <br /> RE: William Sullivan SP-90-63 <br /> A Petition was filed by William Sullivan of Walpole, Massachusetts <br /> for a;Special Permit under Section 174-17 of the Zoning By-laws for <br /> permission to expand a non-conforming structure with the construction <br /> of a house addition, pool, garage and decks in an R-3 zoning <br /> district on property located at 6 Daniel's Island Road (Map 100, Block 18) <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the.Town of Mashpee <br /> on August 6 and August 13, 1990, a copy of which is attached hereto <br /> and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall <br /> on Wednesday, August 22, 1990 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following <br /> members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: <br /> Cheryl A. Hawver, Michael A. Makunas and William J. Hanrahan. <br /> Engineer John Slavinsky represented the applicant. The Board <br /> was informed that the Conservation Commission had required a change <br /> in the plans and had issued an Order of Conditions for the revision. <br /> The Board determined that the use is in harmony with the general <br /> purpose and intent of the zoning by-laws and complies with the <br /> provisions set forth therein. <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of Appeals voted <br /> unanimously on August 22, 1990 to grant the Special Permit based on <br /> Cape 6 Islands -Plan 505990 dated June 29, 1990. <br />
