MA 02649 BOARD OF APPEALS DECISION FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT RE: Fields Point Limited Partnership SP-90-72 A Petition was filed by Fields Point Limited Partnership for a Special Permit under Section 174-25.D.2 of the Zoning By-laws and the conditions of SP-86-04-024 to construct a portion of Building No. 19 for use as a medical office building on the first floor and up to three residential units on the second floor on property located in a C-1 zoning district at Mashpee Commons, 38 Nathan Ellis Highway (Map 74, Block 20) Mashpee, MA. ' Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee on August 27 and September 3, 1990, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. A public hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday, September 12, 1990 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Michael A. Makunas, Edward M. Govoni and B. Thomas Christian. Douglas Storrs of Fields Point presented plans for a 60' x 50' building which would be a portion of the planned Building 19 in the Commons. He explained that the first floor would be occupied by medical offices and four 700 sf residential units were planned for the second floor. The Design Review Committee had made some design changes in the building and Mr. Storrs explained that plans will be revised to include these. John Martino, Vice President of Support Services at Falmouth Hospital, informed the Board that the Hospital was very committed to opening this facility and hoped to have occupancy by July 1, 1991. He explained that they would start with officEs for two physicians and would expect to be open 5} days and 1 evening.
