MASHPEE FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES <br /> JUNE 27, 1995 <br /> MEETING COMMENCED AT 7:OOPM <br /> Finance Committee members present: Marcia King, Chairman; Sid <br /> Golub, Vice Chairman; Dan Goggin; Denise Sullivan; Juan Bacigalupi <br /> and Alec Watt. Tony Gallo was unable to attend. <br /> Please note for the record that the taping of this meeting is for <br /> the transcription of the Minutes only. Once the Minutes are <br /> approved, the tapes will be reused. <br /> Minutes <br /> It was agreed that the Minutes of June 13, 1995 would be voted on <br /> at the next scheduled meeting. <br /> Alec Watt, the newest member of the Finance Committee, informed the <br /> other members that he had been sworn in. <br /> Correspondence <br /> There was a letter from a Mashpee resident requesting a copy of all <br /> Minutes involving joint meetings between the Finance Committee and <br /> the School Committee. The resident's interest concerned SPED. <br /> It was asked that a letter be sent to Mr. Denaro indicating that <br /> the Finance Committee has no jurisdiction to vote on the School's <br /> line items, only on the total number. <br /> There was a memo from John Doherty, Chairman Board of Health, <br /> requesting that Ms. Sullivan not be the liaison assigned to their <br /> department. The Committee agreed that Mr. Gallo would be the <br /> liaison to this department. It was asked that a letter be sent <br /> notifying the Board of Health of this change. <br /> There was a memorandum from Dr. DeMbura regarding a time capsule <br /> being buried in the courtyard of the new high school. <br /> The Personnel Board has reorganized. Joe Dellagala has been <br /> reappointed to Chairman, with Carole Dunivan as Clerk. <br /> A memorandum from Maryanne Gibbs, Assistant Town Accountant, asks <br /> that any requests for encumbrances be given to her no later than <br /> July 13 , 1995. <br /> There was a memo from Paul Keefe, DP Coordinator, notifying Town <br /> employees about Microsoft Word Training. <br /> Lastly, Mr. Bacigalupi Motioned that the Finance Committee <br /> send a letter to Tom Cahir and Henry Rauschenbach encouraging their <br /> support of the Juguga/Caron legislation. The Committee approved 6- <br /> 0. Ms. King suggested either asking Mr. Whritenour to add the <br />
