MASHPEE FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES DECEMBER 12, 1995 EXECUTIVE SESSION MEETING COMMENCED AT 8:30PM Finance Committee members present: Marcia King, Chairman; Sid Golub; Dan Goggin and Juan Bacigalupi. Tony Gallo and Alec Watt were unable to attend. Harsh V. Finance Committee The Committee discussed a letter received from Robert Whritenour and Town Counsel to the Finance Committee. The Plaintiffs request that the words "which were open" be removed from the Stipulation of Dismissal. Mr. Golub suggested leaving the word open there. Mr. Goggin also agreed that the wording should not be changed. Mr. Goggin Motioned to reject this latest word change. Mr. Golub seconded the Motion. Mr. Bacigalupi felt that the Committee should settle in order to get rid of the suit. He felt it was costing the Town money. Mr. Golub asked if there should be an alternative offered? Mr. Golub suggested drafting what would be acceptable. The vote was called and 3 members approved, Mr. Bacigalupi opposed. Ms. King asked that a letter be written to the Executive Secretary indicating that the Finance Committee did not accept this word change. Mr. Goggin dictated the letter which was to be written. Sid Golub Motioned to send it to the Executive Secretary. Dan Goggin seconded the Motion and members approved 3 to 1. Mr. Bacigalupi opposing. Administrator's Unit Proposal The Committee reviewed the proposal. Ms. King asked that they look it over in order to discuss it at the next meeting. The odd numbered pages were not included. Ms. King said that she would copy them and send them out to members. The Committee agreed that their next meeting would be held on Tuesday, January 2 , 1996 at 7:OOPM. The Chairman indicated that there should be a posting for the 2nd, 8th, 9th and 23rd of January. Dan Goggin Motioned to adjourn their Executive Session meeting. Mr. Bacigalupi seconded the Motion.
