Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes 7 <br /> December 21, 1998 <br /> COMMMCATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Cemetery Committee Status <br /> Selectman Caffyn, Chairman of the Cemetery Study Committee <br /> indicated that she will call a meeting for the purpose of reactivating <br /> the committee to prepare an additional Request For Proposal to review <br /> the feasibility of a Town Cemetery. <br /> Selectman Caffyn indicated that two firms were interviewed as a result <br /> of the initial RFP. The proposals were deemed too expensive. It was noted <br /> that the sum of$9,750 exists in the general budget for said purpose. Tom <br /> Fudala,the Town Planner is expected to assist the RFP modification proposal. <br /> Update - William Fisher-Environmental Consultant <br /> Informational Meeting-Plumes Impacting Mashpee <br /> Monday,January 11, 1998 <br /> 6:30 p.m. -Town Hall <br /> Human Service Office: <br /> The Human Service Office located in Summerfield Park is now open informed <br /> Selectman Caffyn. An open house is expected to be scheduled in January. <br /> Hours of Operation: 8:30 a.m. -3:00 p.m. <br /> Education Reform: <br /> Selectman Caffyn indicated that she submitted her first House Bill relative <br /> to Education Reform Copies were issued to the Selectmen for review. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Authorization to Execute Greenwood Fire Apparatus Agreement- <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to authorize Robert Whritenour <br /> as Procurement Officer to execute the Greenwood Fire Apparatus <br /> Agreement as amended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 40. <br />
