6 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> December 20, 1999 <br /> Annual Entertainment License Renewals: <br /> Correspondence was received from Joyce Mason, Assistant Town <br /> Administrator dated December 16, 1999 relative to the list of <br /> Annual Entertainment licenses for renewal for calendar year 2000. <br /> Selectman Leveille stepped down for the above referenced renewal. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve the renewal of the <br /> following Annual Entertainment licenses as stipulated; <br /> Finally Dino's—Weekday and Sunday <br /> Zachary's—Weekday and Sunday <br /> Gone Tomatoes—Weekday and Sunday <br /> New Seabury Country Club—Weekday and Sunday <br /> Bobby Byrne's—Weekday <br /> Popponesset Inn—Weekday and Sunday <br /> Quashnet Valley Country Club—Weekday and Sunday <br /> Contrast at the Commons—Weekday <br /> Willowbend Country Club—Weekday and Sunday <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Blythe. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Selectman Leveille abstained. <br /> Mashpee TRIAD: <br /> Mort Sapers, TRIAD vice chairman and Police Sergeant Ron Bevacqua <br /> were present to discuss the Cooperative Agreement relative to the <br /> community policing initiative between the senior citizens, law <br /> enforcement and senior service providers to increase safety through <br /> education of crime prevention. <br /> The S.A.L.T. Council comprised of seniors and lawmen together is <br /> Nationally recognized in 48 states. Goals of the TRIAD include reducing <br /> criminal activity which targets older Americans, to alleviate senior's fears <br /> of victimization, build confidence, improve the quality of life, and <br /> enhance the delivery of law enforcement and public safety service to older <br /> persons. Mashpee is the lead Cape community for the TRIAD program. <br />
