1 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> June 29, 2000 <br /> Present: Selectman Leveille,Selectman Cahalane, Selectman Taylor, <br /> Selectman Marsters, Selectman Green <br /> Town Administrator Robert Whritenour <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Leveille at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Town Hall, Conference Room#1. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Comment: <br /> The Planning Board in support of a development agreement for Mashpee <br /> Commons has requested the Selectmen grant permission to refer the <br /> matter to the Cape Cod Commission for approval informed Tom Fudala, <br /> the Town Planner. The Board at the next scheduled meeting will review <br /> the issue. <br /> In other business, Mr. Fudala invited the Selectmen to attend a walk along <br />�. Main Street to review the proposed Historic District. Earl Mills will assist <br /> with the tour scheduled on Saturday,July 1, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. beginning <br /> at Heritage Park. <br /> I' DPW Department; <br /> Curb Cut Delphic Avenue: <br /> Greg Taylor, Director of Public Works was present to brief the Selectmen <br /> on the process required to acquire the above referenced roadway easement <br /> and secure funding for development. <br /> As noted, cost options are presently being considered for Delphic Avenue. <br /> Mr. Taylor recommended the Board initiate a taking procedure to make <br /> the road into a public road. The roadway as proposed will provide entry <br /> into the ballfields and will benefit the VFW Post. <br /> When the master plan is developed, the Selectmen requested the matter <br /> return to the Board to review and determine the specific site selection <br /> roadway easement in the matter of safety. There is a blind spot in the area <br /> of the present curb cut location. <br />
