I, <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> December 17, 2001 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Hearing— Cemetery Regulations: (continued) <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to accept the Rule and Operation <br /> for both the Town Cemeteries as documented with the changes as <br /> voted upon. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to set the effective date of the <br /> Rules and Regulations for the operation of the Town Cemeteries to <br /> February 1, 2002. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> The Selectmen agreed to review the draft Business Plan, and pricing <br /> structure at the next scheduled meeting. Members of the Cemetery <br /> Building Committee, Cemetery Commission and the Director of Public <br /> Works will be requested to attend further deliberations. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Operation of Transfer Station: i <br /> Catherine Laurent, Department of Public Works discussed her <br /> memorandum of December 6, 2001 relative to the operation of the <br /> Transfer Station. <br /> It was noted that Coastal Waste Management has approached the DPW on <br /> several issues concerning the operation of the Transfer Station. The <br /> position of the Department of Public Works was outlined in the <br /> memorandum. <br /> The contractual issues discussed included the Transfer Station at Capacity, <br /> Bulky Waste and Christmas Trees. It was noted that all three issues are <br /> addressed within the guidelines of the present contract with Coastal Waste z <br /> Management. <br />
