I, Board of Selectmen Minutes December 17, 2001 APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: Public Hearing— Cemetery Regulations: (continued) Motion made by Selectman Leveille to accept the Rule and Operation for both the Town Cemeteries as documented with the changes as voted upon. Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. Motion made by Selectman Leveille to set the effective date of the Rules and Regulations for the operation of the Town Cemeteries to February 1, 2002. Motion seconded by Selectman Green. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. The Selectmen agreed to review the draft Business Plan, and pricing structure at the next scheduled meeting. Members of the Cemetery Building Committee, Cemetery Commission and the Director of Public Works will be requested to attend further deliberations. NEW BUSINESS: Operation of Transfer Station: i Catherine Laurent, Department of Public Works discussed her memorandum of December 6, 2001 relative to the operation of the Transfer Station. It was noted that Coastal Waste Management has approached the DPW on several issues concerning the operation of the Transfer Station. The position of the Department of Public Works was outlined in the memorandum. The contractual issues discussed included the Transfer Station at Capacity, Bulky Waste and Christmas Trees. It was noted that all three issues are addressed within the guidelines of the present contract with Coastal Waste z Management.
