3 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> November 4,, 201 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Traffic S1 ,l l—Great beck Road North Lo yell Road: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to place the above topic on the <br /> Selectmen's agenda. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -o. <br /> Roll Call vote; <br /> Selectman Cahalne,yes Selectman Richardson,yes <br /> Selectman O'Hara,yes Selectman Taylor,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes opposed,none <br /> At Meir last meeting the Board of Selectmen met with Jacqueline Spinney of 280 <br /> Great Neck Road North to review mise a mplaint associated to the newly <br /> Mallei audible traffic sigW located on Great Neck Road forth at the <br /> intersection of Lovell Road, Mrs. Spinney indicated there is an intolerable <br /> beeping machine on the traffic light which she endures at all hours of the clay and <br /> night. <br /> In reviewing this matter, Torn Mayo,the Assistant Town Manager indicated this <br /> matter has been discussed with state officials including the MA ADA Board. It <br /> was explained the Architectural Access Board and ADA Board are reserved-on <br /> this issue and therefore do not maintain jurisdiction over this concern. <br /> The Board of Selectmen agreed that it would be appropriate to receive input from <br /> the Town's Americans with Disabilities Act(AICA) Committee. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to turn-off the audible mechanism on the <br /> Great Neck Road 1rthowell Road traffic steal pending a vote ofsupport <br /> from the Mashpee ADA Committee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman .O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -o. <br /> Roll Call vote: <br /> Selectman Cahalane,yes Selectman Richardson,yes <br /> Selectman O'Hara,yes = Selectman Taylor,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes opposed,none <br /> Mrs. Spinney was in attendance and agreed to attend the next ADA Committee <br /> meeting. The Board of Selectmen liaison would also be present for discussion. <br />
