Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> March 10, 2003 <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Town Meetin 'warrant—Draft#2 Review: (continued) <br /> Annual Town fleeting Warrant: <br /> Article #7-. $446,419 to provide for road 'improvements under <br /> Chapter 90 related funds. The Miele authorized the use of <br /> Funds to be 100%reimbursed by the Commonwealth of <br /> Massachusetts. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marters to release the hold, and place <br /> Article#7 on the'Town Meeting warrant as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOA: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Article#9: $200,000 for the purpose of making loans to residents for <br /> the repair and/or upgrade of residential septic systems. The <br /> Commonwealth of MA, through the Water Pollution <br /> Abatement Tryst, is providing % interest loans to <br /> commuities to assist homeowners. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Green to release the hold, and dace <br /> Article#9 on the'Town Meeting warrant as presented. <br /> mot* <br /> nn seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. - . <br /> Article 417: A statute that would require municipalities who want t pay <br /> greater than % of the cost of retired employees <br /> insurance. Mashpee has been paying the increased share, <br /> % for retirees with health insurance, but there is n <br /> record of the adoption of this statute. <br /> An outline of the Town's share and employee share on a <br /> yearly and monthly basis was provided to the Selectmen by <br /> the Treasurer/Tax Collector. <br /> The Treasurer/Tax Collector was requested to provide <br /> information to the Selectmen relative to comparable tom <br /> v tinclude a breakdownof lime item.., retiree"s.
