OTHER BUSINESS: Ms. Phillips stated that she knows that she came in a few minutes late and missed
the vote on the minutes. She would like the word"abstained"to replace"recused"because she did not
leave the room. A motion was made by Richard Halpern and seconded by Kevin Shackett to
amend the minutes by replacing the work"recused"with"abstained". The motion was
adopted. Mr. Halpern asked how the designated smoking areas were working out and Mrs. Botsford
reported that they've had to ask a couple residents to remove items from one of the areas, but other than
that, all is fine.
COMMUNICATIONS/CORRESPONDENCE: The chair noted that the first Quarterly Report for the
Housing Assistance Program was done. Mr. Halpern asked who the report was sent to and Mrs. Botsford
stated that it was sent to both the CPC and the'rown Manager. Mrs. Botsford also noted that she had
sent a letter to Michelle Tobey, Director of the Mashpee Wampanoag Housing Program, with the results
of the board votes last month but have not yet heard back yet. There has been a death in her family so
there may be a delay in her response. Mr. Laporte stated that the board and the director were all
saddened to hear of her loss.
MEETING ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made by Jill Allen and seconded by Kevin Shackett to
adjourn. The motion carried. The meeting was adjourned at 6:30 PM.
gRespesu itted,
d, MP A, PHM, C9P
Secretary
Executive Director
