OTHER BUSINESS: Ms. Phillips stated that she knows that she came in a few minutes late and missed <br /> the vote on the minutes. She would like the word"abstained"to replace"recused"because she did not <br /> leave the room. A motion was made by Richard Halpern and seconded by Kevin Shackett to <br /> amend the minutes by replacing the work"recused"with"abstained". The motion was <br /> adopted. Mr. Halpern asked how the designated smoking areas were working out and Mrs. Botsford <br /> reported that they've had to ask a couple residents to remove items from one of the areas, but other than <br /> that, all is fine. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS/CORRESPONDENCE: The chair noted that the first Quarterly Report for the <br /> Housing Assistance Program was done. Mr. Halpern asked who the report was sent to and Mrs. Botsford <br /> stated that it was sent to both the CPC and the'rown Manager. Mrs. Botsford also noted that she had <br /> sent a letter to Michelle Tobey, Director of the Mashpee Wampanoag Housing Program, with the results <br /> of the board votes last month but have not yet heard back yet. There has been a death in her family so <br /> there may be a delay in her response. Mr. Laporte stated that the board and the director were all <br /> saddened to hear of her loss. <br /> MEETING ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made by Jill Allen and seconded by Kevin Shackett to <br /> adjourn.
