conducting a media campaign and there will be a second coalition roundtable with town <br /> coalitions from Yarmouth and Sandwich at the Mashpee Library on February 23, 2016. <br /> She sent an email encouraging all of the Mashpee Cares members to attend and it would <br /> be helpful to hear what other town coalitions are doing. <br /> The Director noted she went to a forum at Cape Cod Hospital and there will now be more <br /> psych clinicians in the ER. Another discussion, was the disconnect among agencies on <br /> the Cape. She said she was invited by the Department of Transitional Assistance to be <br /> part of their Inter-Agency Collaborative Agency and they meet with Department of <br /> Mental Health, Department of Children and Families, Department of Developmental <br /> Services, Mass Rehabilitation Commission, Department of Housing and Community <br /> Development. <br /> The Director noted other departments in town hall have been referring clients to her <br /> office such as Assessing and the Tax Collector's office. There was a discussion on <br /> hoarding situations and how there needs to be more accountability, representation and <br /> services. <br /> There was a brief discussion on the 2017 budget and the Director said she would put this <br /> on the agenda for the next meeting. <br /> NEXT MEETING SCHEDULE— Thursday, March 17 at 2:00 p.m. <br /> Motion: Lynne Waterman moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Mary <br /> Bradbury.
