<br />Mr. Blaisdell, seconded yes, Mr. Furbush, yes, Mr. Goldstein, yes, and Mr. DeBarros, yes.

<br />Mr. Bonvie made a motion issue a Variance to Mr. John F. Gillis of 18 Shorewood Drive. 
<br />He referenced the same plot plan, floor plans and conditions from the departments as issued 
<br />in the Written Finding. He made a motion to approve the right sideline Variance which was 
<br />approved at a Town Meeting vote, and is an administrative only Variance under Section 
<br />32 Chapter 40 in the amount of 10 ft. altering 25 ft. down to 15 ft. Mr. Blaisdell added that 
<br />once approved by the Town it will comply with the October 2016 Town Meeting. This is 
<br />considered an administrative timing issue and all other setbacks and criteria of this 
<br />Variance request have been met. 
<br />Mr. Goldstein seconded, yes, Mr. Furbush, yes, Mr. Blaisdell, yes, and Mr. DeBarros, yes. 
<br />All were in favor. 
<br />29 Riverside Road: Owner, Russell J. Spencer requests a Written Finding under § 174-17 
<br />of the Zoning Bylaws to raise existing non -conforming structure and install a new 
<br />foundation beneath said structure, and to construct modest additions and deck to the 
<br />existing non -conforming structure on property located in an R-3 Zoning District, Map 119 
<br />Parcel 81-0, Mashpce, MA. (Continued from February 8, 2017 hearings). 
<br />Chairman Furbush announced that Mr. Bonvie will be stepping down and that Alternate, 
<br />Brad Pittsley will be sitting in on this hearing. 
<br />Attorney Kevin Kirrane represented the applicant for this project. Also present was the 
<br />homeowner, Russ Spencer, Tom Bunker of BSS Design, and Beatrice Bunker, Architect. 
<br />The project consists of raising the "Cottage #2" and moving it 3 ft. further from the property 
<br />line with two modest additions attached to the dwelling, as well as a deck. This property is 
<br />situated on Seconsett Island that is a unique community within the Town as there is a series 
<br />of small cottage colonies throughout the neighborhood. As depicted on the plan, there are 
<br />four residential structures situated on this lot. These structures have existed since the early 
<br />1950's and have existed prior to the time that the Town adopted the zoning bylaws. 
<br />Therefore not only the use, but the structures are pre-existing, non -conforming uses and 
<br />structures.
