Mashpee Planning Board <br />Minutes of Meeting <br />July 20, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. <br />Waquoit Meeting Room, Mashpee Town Hall <br />Approved 813116 <br />Planning Board Members Present: Chairman Mary Waygan, Dennis Balzarini, David <br />Kooharian, Joe Cummings, David Weeden, Robert (Rob) Hansen <br />Also: Tom Fudala-Town Planner, Charles Rowley -Consultant Engineer <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The Town of Mashpee Planning Board meeting was opened with a quorum in the Waquoit <br />Meeting Room at Mashpee Town Hall by Chairman Waygan, at 7;00 p.m. on Wednesday, July <br />20, 2016. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. The Board shared a moment of silence to <br />acknowledge recent tragedies. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES—June 15, 2016 <br />Mr. Fudala submitted recommended changes to the minutes. <br />MOTION: Mr. Balzarini made a motion to accept the minutes as edited by Mr. Fudala. <br />Mr. Cummings seconded the motion. All voted unanimously. <br />DEFINITIVE SUBDIVISION PLAN <br />Applicant: Bayswater Development, LLC <br />Location: Cross Road, New Seabury Section 5, Assessors' Map 116, parcel 74B <br />Request: Signature of Definitive Subdivision Plan, The Cottages at New Seabury <br />Phase III (approved on 6-15-16) <br />The Chair read for the record the request. John Falacci, Project Manager for Bayswater, was <br />present to discuss the Cottages of New Seabury and report that approval was obtained from the <br />Water Department for the drain, banking retention and a copy of the archeological survey was <br />forwarded to Mr. Weeden for review. Mr. Weeden stated that he had been in contact with the <br />CRM for the survey, who was satisfied with the results. Mr. Balzarini inquired about the <br />placement of the fire hydrant and telephone pole and Mr. Falacci assured him that the entrance <br />would be located away from that area. <br />Mr. Rowley reported that the amended plans were in good shape and Mr. Fudala confirmed that <br />the appeal period had expired and the Town Clerk had signed the plans. The revised plans were <br />signed by Planning Board members. <br />Mr. Falacci also submitted a letter requesting a release of the performance bond, asking to be <br />added to a future meeting agenda. It was confirmed that Flat Pond Preserve subdivision had <br />been built with the top coat of pavement installed.
