<br />2 <br /> <br />Community Preservation Committee <br />Minutes <br />January 13, 2015 <br /> <br />Present: Richard Halpern, Burt Kaplan, Evelyn Buschenfeldt, Wayne Taylor, <br /> Mary Waygan, Frank Lord <br /> <br />Absent: Ed Larkin, Diane Rommelmeyer, Ralph Shaw <br /> <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Halpern at 6:00 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Town Hall, Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> <br /> MINUTES: <br /> <br /> Thursday, December 11, 2014: <br /> <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Buschenfeldt to approve the minutes of Thursday, <br /> December 11, 2014 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Lord. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 6-0. <br /> <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Mr. Halpern, yes Mr. Kaplan, yes <br /> Mrs. Buschenfeldt, yes Mr. Taylor, yes <br /> Ms. Waygan, yes Mr. Lord, yes <br /> Opposed, none <br /> <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS: <br /> <br /> Public Comment: None at this time. <br /> <br /> Dawn Thayer, Town Accountant – Review of CPC Finances: <br /> <br />Dawn Thayer, Town Accountant was in attendance to review CPC Finances with <br />members of the Community Preservation Committee. <br /> <br />Mrs. Thayer indicated the Town of Mashpee received an actual state <br />reimbursement of $418,248 in fiscal year 2015. The original state match estimate <br />as reported on the CP-1 form was $275,415. The additional state funding <br />received over the estimate is $142,833. As a procedural article and to meet the <br />requirements of reserving funds from the supplemental CPA FY2015 Trust Fund <br />distribution, Mrs. Thayer recommended the CPC place an article on the Special <br />Town Meeting warrant for the purpose of allocating funds in fiscal year 2015. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
