An RFP for a new development, Brewster Woods,
has been issued.
• Carol's office is done, We came in under -budget by approximately $3,500,00
• DHCD rejected our budget twice and I've sent an email asking for a telephone conference with
me and Tom Joy.
• Asher's Path Budget has been submitted to MassHousing and MHIC.
• I attended the CPC meeting earlier this week to present our application for funding for the
Housing Assistance Program. It was very well received and I received a lot of positive feedback.
• We received an award from MassHousing for reaching our goals for MBE= (minority lousiness
enterprises) for Asher's Path this past year. I couldn't attend because MHIC was doing their
property review that day,
• I attended Spectrum training this month, as well as a training done by MassHousing Partnership.
• I will be attending the MassNAHRO fall conference this Sunday — Tuesday and Will be presenting,
• I put our request in to DHCD for a waiver with regards to doing bi-annual recertifications but
have not received approval yet. That process starts in December, so I'll stay in contact with
DHCD to try to get it approved ASAP.
• We had court today for an Asher's Path eviction for smoking.
