PUBLIC COMMENTS — None. OLD BUSINESS • Review of Minutes — June 18, 2015 Revisions were made to the June 18, 2015 meeting minutes. John Cahalane made a motion to approve as amended the June 18, 2015 meeting minutes. Elinor Glener seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote: Ruth Elias, yes; Elinor Glener, yes; Mary Bradbury, yes; John Cahalane, yes; Kathy Mohler-Faria, yes; Mary Scanlan, yes; Janice Walford, yes; Veronica Warden, yes; Lynne Waterman, yes. The motion was unanimously approved by a vote of (9-0). NEW BUSINESS • Budget Discussion. As a preface to talk about contracts, Janice Walford referred to a recent discussion she had with the new Town Manager, Rodney Collins, during which he emphasized that detailed backup statistics are going to be required by all departments in order to warrant any budget increases in the coming fiscal year. As a reminder, Ms. Walford stated that the Mashpee Human Services short- and long-term goals that came out of the assessment done in 2013 have not changed. She gave committee members a copy of these goals and a copy of the Human Services Committee Objectives that were unanimously adopted in March, 2012. Ms. Walford said she hoped these objectives would be used as a useful benchmark to keep the committee on track to accomplishing its goals.
