Community Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> June 23,2009 <br /> COMMUNICATIONS ANS] CORRESPONDENCE:. <br /> i <br /> Corres ndence from l ash ee Housing Au <br /> .tl�op: —Breezy Acres: <br /> The Committee reviewed correspondence received from the Mashpee <br /> Housing Authority dated May 8, 2009 relative to 570 Old Barnstable <br /> Road, Mashpce. The property, Breezy Acres has received grant funding <br /> from the CPA in the amount of$450,000 to develop family housing on the. <br /> site location. <br /> To ensure the project is financially feasible, the Housing Authority <br /> requested the Selectmen amend the present deed to allow for additional <br /> housing wits. Presently, the deed is restricted to 9 bedroom units to <br /> conform to Title V regulations. Using an innovative alternative septic <br /> system, 22 additional bedroom wits can be produced to tie into the <br /> existing 18 bedrooms on site. <br /> The maximum bedroom units requested and approved by the Board o <br /> Selectmen is 40 bedroom uts. This also has beep previewed and <br /> approved of by the Board of Health. <br /> 5 <br /> The deed as modified will allow the Breezy Acres Expansion project to <br /> proceed with construction. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Liaison ents Vpdate: <br /> It was noted that a gate is bung installed at the St. Vincent"s property. <br /> The One doom Schoolhouse project is near cox pl tion. A ribbon cutting <br /> ceremony was held on May 25, 2009. <br /> Work is progressing on the Old Indian Meetinghouse Restoration project. <br /> It was agreed that a new liaison list would be disserninated to the <br /> Committee and to the Selectmen's Office. The respective liaison for their <br /> CPAproject i the designated signatory on the first line of the payment <br /> requisition for verification of payment. <br /> 5 <br />
