Commissioners expressing concern/interest for wildlife habitat <br /> values. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated he would recommended native plantings, at <br /> which point Mr. Grotske made written changes to the plan <br /> reflecting such (initialled) . <br /> There being no further Commission or public input, the <br /> Chairman entertained a motion. <br /> MOTION: Ralph Shaw made a motion to Close and Issue; which <br /> motion was seconded by Michael Talbot and so voted unanimously. <br /> 8 : 0-Ralph A. Cistoldi, for construction of path/walkway to <br /> acc ss Section 10A float at 89 Tide Run, Assessor' s Map 120, <br /> Block 188. NOI <br /> The Chairman recognized Michael Grotske, representing the <br /> Applicant, who provided plans making reference to the existing <br /> house. He explained Applicant is seeking access to the pond and <br /> is therefor proposing a Section 10A ramp and a connecting walkway <br /> to the Section 1.01 float. <br /> Mr. Sherman questioned the light benefits connected with the <br /> proposed walkway elevations 2 ft. ) , stating he would not <br /> recommend approval'. He suggested raising the walkway. <br /> Diane Boretos made reference to Chapter 10A floats, noting <br /> Conservation Commission/Harbor Master joint jurisdiction. She <br /> suggested the proposal be reviewed in its entirety as it will <br /> ultimately function as a dock. <br /> References were being made to the number and spacing of <br /> pilings. Mr. Grotske agreed that if the structure is raised, <br /> the number of pilings would be reduced and the placements would. <br /> be increased from 8 ft. to 12 ft. spans) ; eliminating the <br /> walkway and showing a pathway in its stead. <br /> Ms. Boretos recommended the matter be approved contingent <br /> upon approval of revised plans reflecting proposed changes. she <br /> explained the proposed project is located within a resource area, <br /> ehu Pond, and possible ACEC concerns. <br /> There being no further Commission or public input, the <br /> Chairman entertained a motion. <br /> MOTION: Ralph Shaw rade a loot i on to Cl.os a and Issue pending <br /> approval of revised plan indicating the proposed changes; which <br /> Motion was seconded by Carol Moore and so voted unanimously. <br /> o -Chilton Development Company, Inc. , for modification and <br /> maintenance In perpetuity of existing timber walkway, ramp and <br /> float, as previously approved under SE 43-1258 and Waterways <br /> -13- <br />
