7:35 p.m., Paul A. Squarcia, 108 Wading Place Road (revise length of deck to 111 ft.).
Dave Sanickl represented the applicant. He presented the plan and said the proposal
requires the abutter's consent at the State level, and the applicant has met with Mr.
Peterson who concurs with the plan. '
Liza Cox, attorney from Netter, Mcclennen & Fish, representing Mr. and Mrs. Keats
Boyd, Jr., who live in the area: presented a letter from her client to be part of the
record. She mentioned their concern that the extended dock will negatively impact
some of the natural resources, and the additional maneuvering of boats to get around
the extended dock will impact the vegetation that grows on the side of the bank, and
concern that the longer dock is needed because they have a boat with a bigger draft,
and they want to make sure that is not the case. Her client Is requesting a denial of the
application, and they will be appearing before the Zoning Board hearing next week.
Michael said Mr. Sanicki has changed the configuration of the dock at the
Commission's request.
Feats Boyd, III, said his understanding of the agreement between the applicant and Mr.
Peterson is that they will share use of the dock, and because of the length of the
extension, it's anticipated that the boats using that dock will be a significant size} and
that will make a significant Impact on the conservation of the area. He also stated that
shellfishing is done in the area, and there will be ars impact on that.
Bob said the extended dock meets all the design standards we normally require.
Motion 'made, seconded and unanimously carried to approve the plan pending receipt
of a letter of approval from the Shellfish Warden.
7:40 p.m., Colin McHugh, 87 Edgewater Road (construct single family dwelling, septic
driveway, uti I ities and dry wel I).
