i
I
i
New Business:
1. Violation at 15 Aunt Jane's load. Bob said that Cass and he were out doing
inspections and driving on Aunt Jane's Road where he could see the pond} whereas in
the past he couldn't . The owner cut all the ground cover up to the water. The permit
had called for a work limit with no work beyond the work limit and a complete border of
pine, and there is only one pine there. Also, there are no drive outs, so here has been
erosion already. The members signed an enforcement order.
2. Letter received re Cass costa. Bob read a letter he received from Mary Louise
La arovich, P.O. Box 2122, Il ashpee 02649 questioning Cass Costa's eligibility to
serge on the Conservation Commission because she owns an automobile registered in
Palm Springs, FL implying she is a full-tire resident of Palm Springs, and would have a
conflict of interest regarding property in New Seabury because she is a sales agent for
New Seabury Realty.
Bob said that Town counsel canit find anybody by the name of the writer in the Town of
I lashpee, and the mailbox given on the letter is not rented. since the writer copied the
Mashpee Enterprise and Cape Cod Tunes (and reversed the reporters for sane), Bob
distributed to the members a draft of a memo he wrote to Joyce Mason which listed
points which would comprise a response to the writer if there were a person by that
name who had a valid address. All consented to the draft.
Hearing Agenda
7:00 p.m,, Edmond English, 3 Ocean Bluff give (continued from 3/2/03).
Representing Mr. English were Sarah Turano-Flores, attorney, Michael Grotke,
engineer, Don schall, ENSR, and a court stenographer.
Bob said there will have to be a continuance because he has not received the second
opinion of the plan from lir. Lelito. Mr. Grotke submitted some changes in the plan,
but Bob Inas not had a chance to look thea over. Bob said that once there is an
agreement on the redelineation of the bank, the area will have to be restae .
Jack read letters received from 1 the Board of Health and 2 James J. Riley, 1
Iaushon Road, in which he expressed his opposition to any construction at 3 ocean
Bluff Drive and cited the trees on the lot having been cut, saying these trees had been
a protection to his home from storms.
At Nis. Turano-Flore s' req uestr Bob will fax Mr. Lelito tom orrow saying that we need his
report by Wednesday. Bob said that Mr. trot ke and the other consultants should
have sufficient time to respond to the LEC analysis. Mr. trot ke said if they will commit
to having the report on Wednesday morning, that will be sufficient time to review it for a
two-week continuance.
