i MINUTES December 5, 1988 5 BOARD of HEALTH <br /> s <br /> } L <br /> R <br /> ■ R <br /> Town Hall Well - Mr. McQuaid informed the Board that the well located <br /> at the Samuel Davis school has been losed three ti es since school has comm- <br /> enced. Mr. McQuaid stated in discussions with Mr. Murphy, he suggested a new <br /> well be drilled adjacent to the existing well . Mr. McQuaid questioned the Board <br /> as to whether D.E. .E. be notified of the emergency repair. <br /> Mr. costa commented that this Board has the authority to grant permission <br /> for an emergency .repair. <br /> Mr. McQuaid explained to the Board that -they are proposing a 41+ casing, <br /> presently the existing well has 2" casing. <br /> Mr. Gree i i s-h suggested water tests be performed monthly. <br /> Mr. costa motioned to approve an emergency repair for the well at the <br /> Samuel Davis school conditional upon 1r. McQuaid' s determination that the emer- <br /> gency repair is necessary, Mr. Greelish seconded. <br /> 151 Building - [fir. McQuaid informed the Board that a letter was for- <br /> warded to Mr. Govoni , owner of the building, regarding the pipe which is pro- <br /> truding from the ground. Mr. McQuaid stated Mr. Govoni assured him the sm - <br /> ump would be disconnected and has contracted a iumer to hook the pump into <br /> the existing system, however has not been completed. <br /> Oak Hollows - Mr. McQuaid stated he did speak with the owner of the <br /> building , Mr. Cohen, who stated he has retained a contractor to clean the pre- <br /> mises. <br /> Ir. costa requested M .
