Plantings on the <br /> street-facing side of buildings, window boxes and planters are encouraged. Benches or other <br /> seating arrangements and wancways within the development and lining to other buildings <br /> should be provided where appropriate. <br /> 6.2.18 Traditional building materials such as wood shingles, clapboards and brick should be <br /> used for new construction and rehabilitation of existing structures. <br /> 6.2.19 In general, the size and color of all signs should be.in scale and compatible with the <br /> surrounding buildings and street.
