Plague- for Charter Members - Miriam st `eila- Miriam had <br /> Sam-ple. of the pla due that they would prepare for the <br /> historical commission. <br /> Rosemary moved that their proceed with the plaque, and. <br /> the total cost ,not to exceed $2000 - Jack Crowley seconded <br /> the motion. All in favor, S -moved. <br /> Discussion. <br /> B. Nei enm st Burial Grounds : Jinn Moroney explained that <br /> shortly after -they had discussed the burial grounds , the <br /> Cape cod Times , the story broke,, and everything that they <br /> had discussed at their previous meeting about protecting <br /> sites , etc.The <br /> owner sold the land to a land preservation <br /> trust. This in some wa.y was transferred to the Wampanoag <br /> Tribal Council. To their credit, they moved very swiftly <br /> on it. The remains their had in Boston were returned to the <br /> wampanoags and re urrie . on site. Jim explained that the <br /> next day he was thete at the site, and they had already <br /> started to backfill with a heavy layer of sand on top. <br /> Discussion relative to the fact that they had not received <br /> any copies of their records , Rosemary r stated that they <br /> should have receIved copies of absolutely everything that <br /> deals with i ashpee;- of eery corresp'ondence that they ever <br /> seat-; out, <br /> Ann stated that <br /> she would draft a letter to 11ass ., Bistorical . <br /> 5 <br /> She would also try a phone call as well. <br /> Discussion. <br /> Temporary rage Clerk: explained that Phyllis DeLoia, <br /> the temporary wade clerk has resigned and will be leaving <br /> the state, Ann has cone before the selectmen to defend. the <br /> job, and their ire agreed that their stip. could have a clerk <br /> which- is . budgeted for � .7 4 The- b description has been <br /> sent out andwill be published in the paper for 6/21/02 . <br /> They will interview the applicants and thea decide, Hope- <br /> " tion l place for the new fiscal.- <br /> fully <br /> the new pos i f or �l be n <br /> year, Phyllis will be working for them through July, so <br /> she will be able to help through the transition. <br /> D. Letterhead Stationery: 'hey had previously voted to order <br /> letterhead stationery. Ann explained that they will chance <br /> the FP-X number. The webb site will also be added. They <br /> will also add an address to the envelopes this .time. Ann <br /> stated that if she can add it, and receive the bill before <br /> the end of this fiscal year, other ise it will ha ve to be <br /> the first of JulV. <br />
