Chairman Lee Gurney presided. <br /> Commissioners Present: Rosemary Burns,Lee Gurney, Gail Slattery,Joseph Slattery,Paul Peters, Sunny Merritt. <br /> The Minutes of the meeting held on October 2 ,2005 were approved as read. <br /> Reports <br /> • Budget—A proposal for a %increase for FY07 F07was submitted to the town. <br /> • Administration—1e are continuing to work on our"to coo"list... <br /> Schoolhouse Friends-Sunny Merritt indicated that the Friends are planning to send out 1000 post cards in <br /> January. As of this time the furnishings are not complete desks and a bell). The Schoolhouse has not <br /> been cleaned at this time. <br /> • PAC—(Community Preservation ActCommittee)representative, Paula Peters presented a"draft"of the <br /> application. ibis. Peters asked the board to review the draft and e-mail her with any comments or <br /> suggestions. She stated that the CPAC hopes to get the form approved so that by October 2006 letters and <br /> applications will be able to be offered to the public. A question was brought up as to whether the Mash ee <br /> Historical Commission should review applications before a final decision was made;th p <br /> opinion was that the rnrr�issin should review tine lications t . ' a unanimous <br /> pp o confirm eligibility for PA funds in <br /> the historical category before the CPAC chooses projects. <br /> • Mini-exhibits—Gail Slattery has copied some old maps to display at the Post Office. This will be <br /> completed in the next week or so. A topic to be considered for Black Hi to month is of African <br /> Americans in Maritime History. <br /> • People of Color—Mariam Estrella has been working on this project--LL she has been out temporarily. <br /> • Photos around town—Joe Slattery has been taking pictures of the Meeting House,the Archives,the Mair <br /> Street Village project on Route 130(not far from Town Mall)as well as the new construction of Marshall's, <br /> near Roche Bros, Market. <br /> • <br /> Old Business: <br /> • 2006 Work plan was distributed and Lee Gurney is looking for input. <br /> Meeting dates for 2006—next meeting Tuesday,April 0 2006. Meetings will be held on the first Tuesday <br /> of each month at 10:00 AM at the Archives Building. <br /> • Holiday Closure-the Archives will be closed from December 15,2005 to February 15,2006. <br /> motion was made and unanimously approved to adjourn at 11:30 AM. <br />
