Frank Lord
would like to write an article on the history of the schoolhouse since it has been moved
to its new location in the Veteran's Park. The 3rd grade children in Mashpee made their
first visits last spring after it was opened on Memorial Day in May 2009.
Rosemary advised us that land records can easily be accessed through the Barnstable
Registry of Deeds; however, the probate records will not be available on line. Debbie
Dami is keeping the town records. Lee Gurney feels that we have saved duplicate
items, such as the MA General Laws, that we may not need to keep.
Some work needs to be done on the present building.
