S <br /> Is.Reed advised members that she will be contacting the State Auditors office for the purpose of <br /> conducting an audit of the'Mashpee Mousing Authority, 'There is a charge associated with this audit. <br /> EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT: <br /> Ms.Reed informed the members that their may be a litigation pending—re: a resident who has contacted <br /> Legal Services regarding the Pet Participation fee, and,in their opinion,violation of the tenant's lease b <br /> imposing the Pet Policy and fee. <br /> The Housing Authority has begun participating in the Department of Transitional Assistance Temp-Up <br /> Program. As part of the welfare reform program,AFDC recipients are required to work a minimum of <br /> twenty 2 fours community service. The volunteer assigned to the Housing Authority was interviewed <br /> by Ms.Rem and is currently working twenty hours per weep assisting with filing,telephone answering, <br /> etc. <br /> Due to program requirements that allow a maximum of a two year assignment,and possible cuts to the <br /> program,the Ma.shpee Housing Authority may lose the Senior Aide slot currently held by George Rubino. <br /> Elder Services cannot guarantee mother volunteer will be assigned to Mashpee Housing Authority. <br /> All volunteers are required to review and sign the Code of Ethics and Standard of Conduct regulations <br /> relative to confidentiality as they relate to tenant selection,wait list, rent collection,etc. <br /> The Director attended a workshop,strongly suggested by EOCD, on Reasonable Accommodation <br /> presented by 1 IfWA. <br /> EOCD will be visiting the 1 lashpee Housing Authority very shortly for the purpose of conducting their <br /> BOAST(formerly known as the Management Review). All housing authorities are subject to this process. <br /> EOCD will be reviewing all aspects of the fishpee Housing Authority,including but not limited to, <br /> policies,tenant selectiontransfer, rent, maintenance,tenant files,wait list,all financial records,etc, The <br /> BOAST is,or should be used,as a management tool, to afford better adrninistt ti a and management <br /> systems for housing authorities, <br /> TENANT'S ASSOCIATION: No report. <br /> Next t Regular Meeting will be held on Thursday,July 11, 1996. <br /> There being no further business to corse before this Burd; a motion was made by Ms.Rudd and <br /> seconded-by Mr& Brooks to adjourn the meeting.
