Minutes of the Meeting <br /> MASHPEE HOUSING Al THS . : O AS' ;� . <br /> Board o CommissionersTntqv�j <br /> %,, <br /> CLERK <br /> May 10, 2001 01 JUN 21 FM 2., 00 <br /> The meeting was s called to order by the chairperson at 5:36 .m. and a quorum <br /> declared with the following members present: E. Stuart Peoples, Mary Likens, Lord <br /> Fenton, and Laverne Williams. Also in attendance was Leila Botsford, Executive Director. <br /> SECRETARY'S REPO : <br /> Minutes for regular meeting held on March 8,, 2001 were presented. Motion was <br /> made by Mr. Peoples and seconded by Ms. Linins to accept the minutes as <br /> presented. The motion was adopted. <br /> TREASURER"s REPO T; <br /> Budget to Actual and Narrative: Mrs. Botsford provided the board with the written <br /> treasurer's report as well as the Budget to Actual Report, prepared by the fee- <br /> accountant, which represented the tenth month of the fiscal year. Mr. Joy's report <br /> pointed out there were extraordinary expenses in the month of April due to the <br /> purchase of the truck. Account # 7520 reflects a deficit of $4,510.00 due to this <br /> purchase, Mrs. Botsford explained fined that the price of the vehicle had gone up between <br /> the time the budget was submitted and the time it was approved. Additionally, the <br /> housing authority purchased a spray-in liner for the truck bed to help protect it and <br /> prolong its life and usefulness. All other expenditures were within budget. <br /> Accounts Payables._ Payables totaling $10,539.80 were presented to the Board for <br /> review, approval and signatures., Copies f checks issued during the past month using <br /> the signature stamp were made available as well, <br /> Rent erin u n ies Mrs. Botsford stated that all ruts are pard in full at Homeyer <br /> Village and one resident has not yet paid at Breezy Acres. A Motion was made by <br /> Ms. Likins, and seconded by Ms. Williams to accept the secretary's report as <br /> presented. The motion was adopted. <br /> PROGRAM UPDATE: <br /> Horn r village (667), Mrs. Botsford reported that this past month there was bingo, <br /> s usual. Mrs. Botsford reported that the computer station was set up and running and <br /> p p <br /> that she would offer some training to residents net week. She also has scheduled her <br /> regular meeting with residents for the following week. Mrs. Botsford reported that the <br /> annual Flower power program will be offered later in the month. <br /> BLeM Acres (70 . Mrs. Botsford reported that the transitional unit was vacated over <br /> two months ago. Unfortunately there was a let of damage to the unit and all of the <br /> rugs needed to he replaced. Mgrs, Basford has had two meetings with the Community <br /> Action Committee as well as other Cape cod housing authorities regarding the problems <br /> with the transitional housing program.
