Mrs. Botsford mentioned that she attended a long meeting yesterday with the owners <br /> and developers of Mashpee Commons and their architects to talk about the needs in <br /> Mashpee and how they can meet the requirements of providing 250k of their units as <br /> affordable housing. she will be meeting with thea again on Saturday. <br /> Mrs. Botsford mentioned that she has been appointed to the cape Cod Commissions <br /> HOME Advisory Council and will attend any first meeting on May 23. Mrs. Botsford <br /> stag that she would also be attending the Mass 1 AHRo spring conference on May 20,, <br /> , and 22, which is held at the Sea Crest Resort in Falmouth., <br /> Mrs, Botsford stated that she has been asked to be on Janice Walford's new t.v. show, <br /> and will attend a taping nem Tuesday, May 14, <br /> Mrs. Botsford mentioned that she has just received information from HUD with regards <br /> to how to become HUD recogniedi. she will research and stark paperwork . <br /> Mrs, Botsford mentioned that she has received a request from one of the Mashpee <br /> Affordable Housing Trust board applicants to get'an update"on the board formation <br /> and when the net meeting will be held. She stated that that she thinks we should <br /> consider meeting regularly soon and becoming more wive with this nor-profit. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Affmdable Hosiog L&m--m1ftt;, Mrs, Botsford stated that the committee was unable to <br /> formally meet again due W lack of quorum. Mrs. Botsford shared a brief update on the <br /> committee and announced that elections will be held net month and, although she plans on <br /> continuing to be an active member, she does not wish to be chairperson this year due to her <br /> hectic schedule. <br /> Ab=tffl, i* Mrs* Botsford stated that she had researched the by-laws and found that the <br /> Town of l ashpee required a committee/board member to have gree consecutive unexcused <br /> absences before a board-can write to the selectmen and request that the person be removed. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Aft[%.ft1h..B2RM1:. Mrs. Botsford sued that she has been talking with The Community <br /> Builders about their proposal for the Asher's Path development. They could not cone to the <br /> meeting tonight to discuss their proposal, but have sent a letter outlining the options we have. <br /> They will be at our next meeting (June 1 to discuss their proposal and answer any.questions <br /> we have before we decide on the award of the contract* A copy of their letter was provided to <br /> each board member. <br /> R.Dir-nift &M Mrs, Botsford, having provided the board with a copy of the drafted <br /> Unit Turn-over policy, explained the policy to the board. After a short discussion, a muton <br /> was rade by Ms. Li ins and seconded by Mr. maples to adopt the Unit Tum-over <br /> Policy as presented.
