t <br /> Meetings attender! <br /> This.month I attended the following meetings: the MAH (Mash pee Affordable Housing <br /> Committee meeting) (two meetings), the Mashpee Human-Services Council HS meeting, <br /> the UCDVC (Upper Cape Domestic Violence Coalition),, the sub-committee meeting for the <br /> Peace Aware/Candlelight Vigil, SSE (Southeastern Dass. Executive Director's Association) <br /> board meeting, SHADS Small Housing Authority Directors Organization),, and I have been <br /> attending ray ASL (American Sign Language)class on Wednesdays. I will be attending the <br /> annual Leo Dower Conference from September 15-17. <br /> MSc; <br /> I have had a telephone conference with folks at Mass. Housing Partnership Fund for <br /> technical assistance with regards to the further development of Breezy Acres. They will <br /> be preparing a written description of our options with this land. <br /> • I have received a letter to The Community Builders with regards to the checklist of <br /> items that meed to be done for the HUD 202 Grant. <br /> DHC] has issued Budget Guidelines for fiscal year-2003 as well as a new. Executive <br /> Director salary schedule. There are no increases to the budget this,year other than a <br /> % increase in salaries. Maintenance and administrative cosh will need to be cut and <br /> insurance costs are expected to increase by about 0%. These costs will need to be <br /> calculated into our 2003 budget. I will be meeting with the fee accountant to prepare a <br /> proposed budget for you to approve at the September meeting. (Notices from DHD <br /> enclosed for your records.) <br /> DHCD has frozen the issuance of all MRVP mobile housing vouchers and advised us to <br /> close our waiting list, which I have done. Additionally, all current MRVP mobile <br /> recipients will experience an increase in their rent portions of$50.00 starting November <br /> 2002.and project-based tenantsrents will increase to ora of thein income (previously <br /> were 35%). Notices to all will be going out in September.
