MA 02649 <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> DECISION <br /> FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT <br /> RE: Cape Farm Supply for a Special Permit SP-92-5 <br /> A Petition was filed by Cape Farm Supply of Sandwich, Massachusetts <br /> for a ;Special Permit under Sections 174-25.E. 1, 174-25.F.5 and 174-25.G.6 <br /> of the Zoning By-laws for permission to operate a wholesale and retail <br /> feed, grain and garden supply business in an R-3 zoning district 'on <br /> property located at 544 Main St. (Map 20, Block 24) Mashpee, MA. <br /> (Owner of record: Christopher S. Cushman TR) . <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the .Town of Mashpee, <br /> on December 20 and December 27, 1991, a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday, January 8, 1992 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the <br /> following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting <br /> throughout: William J. Hanrahan, Michael A. Makunas and Edward M. <br /> Govoni. <br /> Mery Hardwick represented the Petition and informed the Board that <br /> he had operated the business in Sandwich for five years and the lease <br /> of this building offered an opportunity for expansion. Comments were <br /> received from the Mashpee Water District requesting that there be no <br /> increase in the impervious surface on the lot and that storage of <br /> pesticides, etc. be within a building and limited to 3-month supplies. <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of Appeals voted <br /> unanimously on January 8, 1992 to grant the Special Permit subject <br /> to the following conditions: <br />
