He suggested a designated MCAS teacher. <br /> There was discussion of restructuring. <br /> XIV. Specifically Assigned/Unfinished Business <br /> 14.1 MHS Memorial Garden <br /> There was discussion about the original intention for the garden. There was <br /> discussion that any former student teacher or anyone who has had anything to do <br /> with Mashpee high School should be allowed to be memorialized in the garden. <br /> Mr. Marelli made a notion, seconded by Mrs. Stanley to allow any student, staff <br /> member or School Committee member to be memorialized in the garden. <br /> VOTE: U animous <br /> 14.2 FY09 Calendar <br /> Mrs. Bradshaw proposed a 3rd professional day be added to the calendar. She <br /> asked the Committee to approve the present calendar as is, and then she would <br /> bring it hack again,with additional professional days added for approval. <br /> Mrs. Stanley made a motion, seconded by Mr. Marcelli to accept the l ashpee <br /> Public Schools Calendar as is, with future clays to be approved. <br /> VT : Unanimous <br /> 14.3 Annual Report- Mrs. rad ha 'inforr ed the committee that the annual <br /> report would be submitted to town hall. <br /> 14.4 Superintendent Evaluation„Process- Mrs, Bradshaw stated that this process is <br /> being revised. She would like to get together with a working group to review. <br /> Mr. M rcelli stated that he thought Mr. Bailey was interested in doing this. <br /> XV. New Business <br /> Beeley Donkey addressed the Committee about concerns with theft in the high <br /> school locker room and communication issues with sports schedules. <br /> XVI. Committee Reports <br /> nts <br /> 16.1.1 Sub-Committee Reports <br /> 16.1.1*" <br /> .1.1._Negotiations- There is an impact bargaining meeting next week. <br /> P <br /> 16.1.2 Policy_ <br /> No report this evening. <br /> 16.1.3Budget- There was a meeting with the town on 12/20. The <br /> preliminary budget was presorted. There will be a public hearing on 1 1 <br /> with a final vote on 2 . <br /> 16.1.4 Curriculum/MCAS- The minutes of 11/5/07 were approved. <br /> 16.1.5 Athletic Advisory Committee-No report this evening. <br /> 16.2.1 External Reports <br /> 16.2.1.Cape Cod Collaborative- There is a meeting next week. <br /> 16.2.2 Leisure Services-leo report this evening. <br /> 16.2.3 Safe Transportation Task Force-No report this evening. <br /> School Committee Regular ular 1 eeting 0 1/02/08 <br />
