XV. Energy Education Semi-Annual Review <br /> Mr. Tripp gave an update: October, 2006-September, 2008 energy savings to date <br /> is $401,083. <br /> XVI. Annual Report <br /> School Committee will review annual report after the first of the year. Mrs. Mills <br /> felt the report was too long, could it possibly be shorten. Mrs. Stanley felt it should <br /> remain the same—part of the history of the town. More discussion to follow. <br /> XVII. AYP Update <br /> Mrs. Bankston gave an overview of the 2008 AYP for Mashpee High, Mashpee <br /> Middle and the Quashnet School. <br /> XVIII. Specifically Unassigned/Unrinished Business <br /> 18.1 Follow-up <br /> 18.1.1 MHS Yearbook—Mr. Wray and Mr.Winrow, are working <br /> together to fundraise for the yearbook which is in a deficit. <br /> 18.1.2 Phone Company Audit—Ms. Lugo presented the contract from <br /> Chambers Advisory Group to perform an audit of the school's phone charges. <br /> Mr. Bailey made a motion, seconded by Ms. Mills to approve the contract <br /> with Chambers Advisory Group to perform an audit of phone charges. <br /> Vote: Unanimous <br /> XIX. Negotiations <br /> No report this evening <br /> 20.2.2 Policy <br /> 21.1.2.1 Report from the Policy Sub-Committee <br /> Part-time and Substitute. and Tutorial Staff- second reading. The <br /> rate of pay be changed from$18/hour to$22/hour to reflect the higher <br /> qualifications required. <br /> Mrs. Stanley made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Mills to approve the <br /> revised policy for part-time and substitute, and tutorial staff. <br /> Vote: Unanimous <br /> Private Tutorine— 1st read—subcommittee recommends amending <br /> the Private tutoring policy to allow private tutoring in the school <br /> buildings with the approval of the building principal. <br /> Use of School Buildings— I"read—the subcommittee <br /> recommends amending the policy to differentiate non-school-related <br /> organizations from school-related organizations. <br /> 3 <br />
