Fire Station Building Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> October 2 , 1997 <br /> Present: Jim Vaccaro, George Baker,Joyce NWon,Dr. Elizabeth Petti, <br /> Peter Thomas,Benjamin Perry,Jr.,George Weak <br /> Meeting Called to 0r. by Chairman Vaccaro at 10.-00 a. . <br /> 'down Hall,, <br /> 1. <br /> ][UCs&y,,,Q=ber - 122 <br /> � <br /> Motion made by Mr. We nick to approve the minutes of <br /> Tuesday,October 7 1997 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Baker. <br /> Y,QTE-.* Unanimous. 7-0. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Baker to approve the minutes o <br /> Wednesday,October 8, 1997 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Mrs, Mason. <br /> Unanimous. 7 . <br /> ARCMIECILMALSFILCIMN FELCESS: <br /> The Committee conducted due diligence on the following architectural <br /> firms; Keyes Associates,Inc.,Brown&Lindquist, Inc.,Gaffney <br /> Architects, hic., and Donham& Sweeney, Inc. <br /> Kg=Associato.- <br /> Due diligence conducted on Keyes Associates detected a general <br /> concern to the lack of follow-up of architectural services for projects affiliated <br /> with this firm in Framingham,Kingston,Marshfield and Mefford. <br /> Many of the towns had reservations about re-hiring Keyes as a result with <br /> the exception of Nfmh eld. It was noted that Kingston had problems with <br /> SAR Engineering, Inc. ,a sub-consultant used for mechanical,p1mbing and <br /> fire protection engineering services. Centerville and Framingham also had <br /> problems with heating and ventilation systems. <br />
