Mason: The following corrections are requested in the above noted minutes, Deport of the Architect, page ? In paragraph 4 Chief Baker's questions regarding stamping of supplementary-documents was answered to the effect that only the documentation supplied in the course of the Building Permit are normally required to be stamped l by the engineer unless otherwise required in the contract. In paragraph 5 my statement was referencing that there are likely to be financial impacts resulting from the numerous problems encountered with the structural engineering on this project. In paragraph 6 all my comments were made in the abstract without reference any specific issues on the Fire Station project, The statement was phrased to indicate that in the case of a demonstrated or admitted liability the Owner would still have to assume the costs of additional materials required for the Project but that costs beyond this are normally seen to be the responsibility of the design professional.To do otherwise would not be appropriate on my part as the assignment of responsibility and liability must be determined in consultation with the design professionals and their insurance companies in negotiation with the Committee.
