Mashpee Public Library <br /> GREAT NECK ROAD <br /> MASHPEE. MASS. 02649 <br /> Librarian' s Report <br /> November, 1979 <br /> During the month of November 531 library materials were <br /> circulated. This included 345 books for adults, 84 children' s <br /> volumes, 46 magazines, 49 paperbacks and seven films. <br /> A memorandum was sent to the selectmen' s office regarding a <br /> new concret walk for library patrons, and the possibility of <br /> motion alarms for the building. A security systems specialist <br /> inspected the building and will report to the selectmen's <br /> office. <br /> Movies for senior cif izpns continue on Friday afternoons with <br /> few patrons viewing. - <br /> �j2 % <br /> The Mimsy puppets will apappear on Sats urday, December 1st, and <br /> the Friends of the Library have arranged for publicity, and <br /> will be here to help supervise the program. <br /> The new furniture - card files and book shelves-have been <br /> ordered and should arrive in January. <br /> A slideipresentation on the seashore was well attended on <br /> Tuesday; November 20th. This program was sponsored by the <br /> Friends of the Library. <br /> The women' s Wednesday morning book discussion group will hold <br /> their next meeting in January. <br /> Gloria Selander <br /> Librarian <br /> e <br />
