The t-shirts were purchased by the Friends and sold to make a profit. By mid-
summer I was worried about not selling all of the t-shirts, so they were sold at half price. The
Friends put up $170 to purchase the shirts and we took in$188 —not much of a profit, but they
were festive and decorative in the Children's Room.
Two of my junior volunteers, Ashley Welch and Sarah Nasuti, helped out at the weekly family
events. They helped the performers set up, greeted the families in attendance, and kept a head
count at each event. Every Thursday afternoon the girls wore the summer reading t-shirts.
 I
i
z
r.
Junior Volunteers
Ashley Welch and Sarah Nasuti
